Memorial Day Parade

Pack 183, Please join us to honor the men and women who have sacrificed so much, and those who continue to serve our armed forces, across the world and here at home.

The annual Memorial Day Parade is this Monday May 30th, we will start at the Davie Fire Administration Building at 6901 Orange Drive and ends at the Bergeron rodeo grounds (about a 1/2 mile parade route).  I would recommend parking at the rodeo grounds and walking back to the fire administration building, please be there at 930am as the parade will leave at 1000am prompt with the service commencing at 1030am.

This is a Class A uniform event for scouts, veterans and active military are encouraged to wear their uniforms. Thanks to Mr. Bonner for the loan of his truck, we will need scouts to carry the flags and the banner and if you wish to bring bicycles please decorate them red white and blue, flags ($1) and patches ($4) will be available for sale at the parade.

Hope to see you all there. Regards Warren, Cubmaster Memorial parade

The last pack meeting of the school year is this Friday May 20th, starting at 630pm and will be held at our local BSA Camp Elmore.

We will be parking in the main car park, and it is only a short 2 minute walk to the Ceremonies Ring where we will hold the meeting (street address is 3551 SW 142 Ave, Davie)

We will celebrate the scouts crossing over to their new rank by awarding them their new neckerchiefs, the new scouts will be awarded their bobcats.

The campfire will be lit so please bring your camp/lawn chairs and a blanket, kid-friendly beverages and snacks if you want to stay the evening.

For those that are undecided about summer camp this will give you an opportunity to see the camp and all it has to offer.

Hope to see you all there.

Next pack event is May 30th Memorial Day Parade, details to follow.

Regards
