Hello Pack 183!!! Cub Scout Day Camp is fast approaching!

The Scouts love it and come home exhausted everyday.  This year’s theme is Cub Scout Investigators. Activities include Scout Skills, Archery, Arts & Crafts, BB Gun Shooting, Land Sports, Special Guests, Daily Programs and much, much more.

Scouts can sign up for one or both weeks and Camp Elmore in Davie is hosting two different weeks – June 13-17 and June 20-24. Hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm. Before and aftercare available.

If you register before April 30 the cost is $115/week (savings of $60). Price goes up to $175 after May 30th. Coordinate with Natalie to use funds from your Cub Scout account.

As always, volunteer help for Day Camp is needed!! Youth Protection training and Hazardous Weather training (both free online) are required of all volunteers.

The Pinewood Derby 2016 is THIS SATURDAY, April 16!!!

Where?

Sunrise New River Civic Center – 60 Weston Road

Schedule:
8:00 – 9:00 Track setup and testing and room/chairs setup – only volunteers to help with setup need to be there by 8:00am

8:45 – 9:25 Car Registration – This is when the majority of the group should arrive. After 9:25, no additional cars can be accepted.

9:30 – 11:00 Racing

11:00 – 11:15 Awards

11:15 – 12:00 Lunch / Cleanup

Friday April 15th is our monthly pack meeting, 6:30pm in Manatee Bay. Please join us for awards, pack games and prizes…… Class A uniform please. The theme is a Scout is Cheerful.

Our MAY pack meeting will be the LAST one of the school year where the scouts crossover into their next rank before the summer activities begin.
