Join Scouting Night September 6th!

Our Join Scouting Night is a great night to get more people you know involved in Scouting.
Does your son have a friend he’d like to have join our Pack??
We’ve made these little invitations for him to hand out at the bus stop or in class.
You can download the PDF and easily print them on your home computer.

Be sure to have him hand them out BEFORE September 6th
and if he brings a friend he will get a recruitment badge!JSNSml

Thanks to all for a great day today, all the boys, their siblings, parents and leaders really showed what Pack 183 can be throughout the year – thanks to Jeff for the photos from today.
Please lookout for more upcoming events in the pack calendar – we plan to have the Joint Scout Night and the first den meetings ahead of the first pack meeting on Sept 27th

Popcorn Sales Promotion – August 2013

We are scheduled to have our first fundraising Popcorn Kickoff Event, September 27th, at our first Pack Meeting…sure to be a great night for all!   More details about our Popcorn Sales will be given during our Rocket Derby scheduled for this Sunday, August 18th. 

Until then…we would like to take this opportunity to make you aware that the company, Trails-End is currently giving an incentive to all Scouts who sell 10 Military Donations during the Month of August!  Please see email below if you are interested.

The Mitzvah Project

Hi Parents,

We received an email asking for any of the following donations for our Troops stationed overseas.  Anything you wish to donate can be brought to our September 27th Pack meeting.  Thank you for all your donations…  YIS, Ryann

Dear Friends and Family,

I am collecting for our military overseas. I am doing this to help our country’s brave soldiers who risk their life every day. Please try to donate so you can make their day. I would like everyone to participate in this event. I am working with www.give2thetroops.org . Here is a list of requested items:

Pocket size tissues

Board Games (travel or regular size)

Footballs, Baseballs, and Softballs (don’t bring nerf footballs because they fall apart)

Video Games (for any platform, used is ok if they work)

Shaving Cream in tubes (not aerosol)

K Cups (coffee, tea, cocoa)

Individual Sweeteners Packets (ex. Splenda, Sugar)

Thank you letters written to the troops

Checks made out to ‘Give 2 The Troops’ for their postage needs

I will be collecting items for the military at all September troop meetings. The deadline to bring in your items is on September 30, 2013. Thank you for your help and I look forward to helping the soldiers.
