4th of July Parade

Please join us this year as we join the good people of the City of Weston in their July 4th parade through Weston Town Center.

We will meet at the intersection of Town Centre Blvd and Three Village Road, look out for the pack flag and all the other scouts too. The parade route is about a 1/2 mile and ends as we walk through Main Street.

Please meet up no later than 10am, the parade will start 10:30am promptly with or without us. Class A uniforms and bring all your red, white and blue. Everyone is welcome, parents, siblings, family, friends & neighbors.

FRIDAY JULY 3RD, we would like some help to build up and decorate the flat bed trailer, if you can spare some time to come build a gateway and decorate the trailer we will meet at 9am at Mr Armando’s house. Check your emails for address.

Fishing Derby!!!

Hello Pack 183,It’s time for your Scout to sign up for the Fishing Derby at Camp Elmore and receive a FREE fishing rod…

What: Pine Island Fishing Derby. This is a great opportunity to complete the Fishing Belt Loop and Pin Requirements. The first 100 preregistered Scouts, by August 8th, will receive A FREE FISHING ROD! And all participants will get a Patch and a chance to win a trophy for the largest fish in one of these categories: Tiger Cubs, Wolf Cubs, Bear Cubs, Webelos, Siblings, Biggest Catch, Most Fish Caught and/or Smallest Catch.

Who: Cub Scouts and siblings can participate in the competition and parents and Boy Scouts and Adventurers can help and fish for fun.

When: Saturday, August 15th, 2015. Registration starts at 8:30 am and the Fishing Derby will run from 9 to 11 am. Awards presentation will follow.

Where: Camp Elmore’s Aquatic Center, 3551 SW 142 Avenue, Davie, FL 33330.

Food: bring your own refreshments. Water will be provided.

Beach Cleanup

Pack 183 – Sunday June 14th we will be doing a beach cleanup service project. We will meet at 9:30 and work on the beach until around 10:30-11. The entire pack is invited to help clean up the area around Dania Beach Pier. We will be spending the 1.5 hours cleaning up the beach and preserving an important turtle nesting area.

We will have garbage bags, please bring gloves for yourselves and cubs/siblings. Please also make sure to add sunscreen and hydrate before we get started.
