We had a lot more success this year with the fishing derby at Camp Elmore. Two fish were caught in our pack and the scenery was beautiful

We just can’t get enough rockets. Recently we did water rockets and now air rockets. As always, having a blast!

Water rocket derby day with the Panther District was a blast (literally)! We really saw some air and enjoyed time with our neighboring packs.

Fall is recruiting season and we’ve been talking to a lot of new recruits! Here are some of the upcoming opportunities to learn more and have fun. If you missed Join Scout Night on 9/22, no worries – you can join and ask questions anytime. Our meetings are weekly from 6:30pm-7:30pm at either Manatee Bay Elementary or Peace Mound Park. Camping Checklist

Highland Hammocks is our traditional first camping trip every scouting year. It’s a laid back trip that allows new parents to learn how our camping trips work and scouts get to spend a lot of time together to bond.

We went on multiple hikes, built a fire, played games and had some fun adventures.

What: The Annual O.A. Haunted Forest.
Where: Camp Elmore
When: Saturday October 21st, 2017.
What Time: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Special Instructions: Trail starts at 7:00 pm and closes at 10:00 pm.
Who: Open to everyone in and out of Scouting.
How much: Onsite: $10 Children and Adult.

Youth Twilight Camp
Where: Camp Elmore
Dates: July 10 – July 14, 2017
Times: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00p.m.
Cost: $100.00

This is open to all youth in 1st – 5th grade
The youth will participate in: Scout Crafts, Archery, BB Guns, Slingshot and Sports. These activities can apply towards: Arrow of Light and Adventure Loops.

Last day to register for the Youth Twilight Camp is Wednesday July 5, 2017.

Hello Pack 183!  Friday the 12th is the last Pack meeting of the year at 6:30pm at Manatee Bay.

We will be having a cross-over ceremony to highlight that the boys are advancing to the next rank for the 2017-2018 season. Also, we’ll be having a extra big raffle for the kids!
