Fall is recruiting season and we’ve been talking to a lot of new recruits! Here are some of the upcoming opportunities to learn more and have fun. If you missed Join Scout Night on 9/22, no worries – you can join and ask questions anytime. Our meetings are weekly from 6:30pm-7:30pm at either Manatee Bay Elementary or Peace Mound Park. We had a lot more success this year with the fishing derby at Camp Elmore. Two fish were caught in our pack and the scenery was beautiful
We just can’t get enough rockets. Recently we did water rockets and now air rockets. As always, having a blast!
Water rocket derby day with the Panther District was a blast (literally)! We really saw some air and enjoyed time with our neighboring packs.
After a long break due to these special circumstances, our pack finally got together again.
We were outdoors, respecting social distancing and wearing masks. Our scouts learned how they can be safe and still have fun!
Scoutmasters is always a fun weekend, we don’t have much time to rest but the scouts enjoy every minute of it. 
Tanah Keeta is a very well maintained park with lots of trails, lakes and many activities for the scouts.
We reserved the obstacle course and went on a day trip to Johnathan Dickinson State Park, which is right next door.
Camp Sawyer is most scout’s favorite. You get to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and stars at night. This year we visited the USCGC Ingham Maritime Museum, such an informative experience.
Highland Hammocks is our traditional first camping trip every scouting year. It’s a laid back trip that allows new parents to learn how our camping trips work and scouts get to spend a lot of time together to bond.
We went on multiple hikes, built a fire, played games and had some fun adventures.
